Account Executive (5 volunteer positions):
*These individuals would be asked to volunteer 3-5 hours per week in efforts to find and identify prospective targets/organizations or individuals to provide sponsorship and donations for VP2H. In these efforts, the Fundraising Committee Account Executives will also be responsible for funneling any leads and contact info to the Fundraising Chair and Board of Directors and assisting in efforts to coordinate either in-person meetings/introductions or conference calls with any interested organizations or individuals that want to help support VP2H’s mission. This can include but not limited to the following: Corporate sponsors, donors (individual/group/company), volunteers for events, entertainment or celebrities, individual sponsors/donors/volunteers, leveraging current work and network. The Fundraising Committee Account Executives will also be asked to work with other Board Chair and Committee members and notifying the Fundraising Committee CRM Admins to input information in our CRM (Kindful) platform, in cooperation of completing efforts. The goal is to acquire, retain, and grow donations and sponsorship for VP2H and to add individual and monthly donors via our website.
Contact Record Management Administrator (1-2 volunteer positions):
*These individuals would be asked to volunteer 2-3 hours per week in efforts to keep VP2H’s CRM (Kindful) platform up to date and current with information received from the respective Committee Chair Members on VP2H’s Board of Directors that is deemed necessary to funnel information appropriately for the purpose of acquiring, retaining, and growing donors and sponsors. They’ll be asked to participate in each Fundraising and Technology Committee meetings that occur once per month.
This volunteer position is great for a person who has worked on large events or has decor/design experience. They will create and direct the setup of decorative items for the gala. Must be available for the entire day of the event. There is a limited budget for this, so securing donations for items may be necessary.
Coordinate the receipt of Table and Ticket purchases and getting guest names into Registration Software. Must become expert in registration software and train volunteers on how to quickly check guests in and check guests out. Must be available for entirety of the event, including set up.
Sponsorship Committee Member: (multiple)
Are you a professional with a big network of people that support the veterans in our community. As a sponsorship committee member you drive the success of the gala by spreading awareness of the event and bringing in table sponsorships and ticket sales from within your network and the Greater Denver community.
Auction Committee Member: (Multiple)
As an auction committee member you will reach out to businesses in Colorado for silent auction donations. this position is great for people who want to help and are outgoing within their communities. You will email a form letter to targeted business and coordinate donations with the auction chair.
