After seperating from the service, many U.S. Military Veterans transitioning into civilian life require a variety of types of assistance in the form of physical, mental, emotional and financial.
Veterans Passport To Hope works in conjuction with a number of organizations in Colorado who provide many of these services. A large part of how we help these organizations is by holding our annual gala, which will be held on November 11, 2015 this year at the Wings Over The Rockies Air and Space Museum.
The RK Foundation is a Platinum Sponsor of the gala, and without their incredible generosity and other organizations like them, we would not be able to provide funds which offer different services to U.S. Veterans who are in need. Some of these organizations include Colorado Adaptive Sports Foundation – Warrior Avalanche Sled Hockey Program, Helping Hands for Freedom – Colorado Arm, and Mountain Resource Center – Support for Veteran’s Re-Integration.
RK and their RK Foundation have generously helped us, and we would like to tell you a little more about them.
RK is headquartered in Denver, CO, with their facility located in Henderson, CO. They are the Rocky Mountain Region’s top supplier of mechanical and industrial solutions for construction and commercial applications. RK operates six business units: Mechanical, Service, Steel, Energy, Water, and Mission Critical. With over 1,200 total employees, RK is Colorado’s largest single source for mechanical contracting, manufacturing, steel fabrication, prefabricated construction, facilities maintenance services, electrical expertise as well as water treatment products and solutions.
